Give us a 4.3" screen so the phone would have to be somewhat bigger - big enough to support two chips for 3G and 4G.
I think that the current iPhone 4 is too thin and too small (I have big hands). I think a Thunderbolt sized iPhone would be just awesome! The Thunderbolt is the perfect size in my opinion.

Not that anyone is reading this thread still, but just in case some of you are:
If you are missing incoming texts, calls, and/or voicemails, when you're in a covered area, this MAY NOT BE A NETWORK PROBLEM.
I had a Blackberry that had all these problems two years ago, and I eventually mentioned it to a savvy AT&T rep. He got me a replacement SIM card and all the problems went away as if by magic.
Also, just another anecdotal experience: I live in San Francisco and spend most of my time here, and I haven't had a dropped call since I got my iPhone a few months ago. However, I have run into numerous situations where the data connection stopped working. In fact, to give an idea of the magnitude of the problem: I walk to work. I like to listen to a streaming internet radio station, one which tacks a ten second ad to the beginning every time you start the stream but otherwise does not have any ads. The last time I tried to listen to it while walking home from work, I literally heard the ad for more total time than I heard the station. Which is to say, the stream very rarely worked for more than twenty seconds at a time.

this sounds very interesting and futuristic. i wonder how you click, or make a selection. it would be pointless if you could scroll wothout touching the screen, but had to touch it in order to click on the scroll wheel.
im excited though! sounds cool!
I can see how simple gestures could be recognized as the various clicks that you would normally do, so I don't think this would be an issue.

I am badly in need for a new iDevice. My last device was the iPod Touch 1st Generation. I am planning to get both the iPhone and iPad, but will only get one now and wait for the other one in the next update.
So which is better now?
Get iPhone 4 White, and wait for iPad 3�
or
Get iPad 2, and wait for iPhone 5?
I am leaning towards the first option because the iPhone 4 feels like a revolution while the iPad 2 feels like a small upgrade and I wish it has a retina screen. But on the other hand, the iPhone 4 feels old now and iPad 2 just released.
I just ordered the iPad 2, white, and have an iPhone 4, personally either option works fine, every time a new product comes out the old one (if in good shape) sells for a real good price and can pretty much be flipped for a new one, got 220 for my iphone 3g when the iphone 4 came out

I really dont get how people are not seeing this in the photo...its blatantly obvious that its bigger. Take a look at my 'digitally enhanced' (HA!) version:

Your arrow is pointing at the back edge of the phone because it's slightly raised.
If you zoom in on the photo your can also tell the white iPhone is maybe quarter of a mm further forward. It's only a pixel or two on the photo.

The existing iPods already are lickable, though the 3rd gen controls are a little more convenient than the click wheel and button interfaces. Feel free to take my word on this, and if you feel the need to confirm, remember that it's probably rude in most places to lick someone else's iPod without asking nicely first.

Saying that, its also likely a 'split off for iPad 2', the reason I think that? Well, iBooks also has that product name. AppleTV would be lousy for book reading IMO. Perhaps some apps will only work on iPad2 and not on iPad(1), due to processor requirements or camera, for example, hence split the compatible apps into two categories. If so, why are games like Angry Birds HD not showing up, which are compatible for both?

That was the case for the previous 21.5" too. The smaller enclosure can only fit 2 DIMM slots while the larger 27" can fit 4 DIMM slots.
Given it's Sandy Bridge, curious if that means the 27" might be able to take 32GB.

At&t bumped my upgrade eligibility from 11/30/2011 to 6/30/2011.
I do a lot of business and have several activated lines with AT&T and Verizon. I purchase several new phones annually from each of them. I'm a true smartphone addict. :eek:
AT&T has revamped the way they calculate upgrade eligibility and time lines. They used to simply count the months you've been in contract and assign you a fixed date.
Recently all that has changed. Now they take into consideration how much you spend with them, how many lines you have, what your data plan and text msg plans are etc. They monitor this on an ongoing basis. As a result your upgrade date on your account is dynamic and will change periodically.
It may change frequently or just once or twice during your contract period. In my case what I like is I get upgrade pricing just about anytime I wish based on the fact I spend quite a bit to have several concurrently activated phones.
Your mileage may vary :)

Woohoo! About ****ing time Apple offered a decent GPU again. The last time the iMac had a GPU capable of playing modern games was 2007 with the 8800GS.
The 8800GS was actually the 8800M GTS, the second-highest model GPU in nVidia's mobile lineup at the time. The HD5750M in the previous iMac was actually a HD5850M or the second-highest model GPU in ATI's mobile lineup at that time. So Apple hasn't been skimping up to now on top-end options. Admittedly, the HD6970M is notable because it's actually the top-end mobile GPU, so we have climbed up a rung in the ladder.

Oh I forgot...yes...the "Specs" argument. My bad. AND the Closed vs. Open debate. Yes...that too. It's so open that I can't upgrade to the latest Android version, because it's not available for carrier XYZ. But that's not Android's fault, or the Phone's fault. You can root it though. That's awesome...root it, then download the newest launcher, then reset it, and do this, and do that. Then when that's all done, it's no better than it was when I started. But hey, my icons are Green! Cool...
